Warehouse Career Training Program

Course details:

Monday-Friday- 2 weeks in duration

8:00am-11:30am & 11:30am-3:00pm (Choose one)
Maximum capacity: 10 students per class

This hands-on course teaches individuals the general knowledge of shipping & receiving, merchandise, and identifying and preparing orders for shipment in the Warehouse and Distribution Industry. This extended program also combines forklift certification, electric pallet jack and computer training skills.

Objective: the warehouse training course is designed to give the learner(s) the knowledge to perform the tasks required in all departments within the warehouse, except operating powered industrial trucks (forklifts) as a warehouse associate.

Curriculum:

  1. Warehouse Safety Procedures
  2. Vocational ESL
  3. Safe pallet jack operation and handling
  4. Warehouse Terminology and Tools
  5. Picking and Packing Orders using warehouse documents
  6. Warehouse Math and Measurements
  7. Sorting Products using numerical systems
  8. Inventory Control and Stocking Product
  9. Shipping and Receiving
